At Ruthie's request, we are asking for donations for the amazing Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, in lieu of flowers. The Hospice team cared for her so well, with dignity and compassion, always. It really was the most amazing place, full of the most genuine and caring people. We will forever be grateful to them for making Ruthie’s last week so serene and uplifting.

Thoughts

Just like most people I am finding it hard to express my thoughts. I think everyone has put it perfectly what a special person Ruth was. Being one of the "Egypt Girls" I have been asked when did we meet & could never answer the question. Well it was September 2006 when I looked it up. I never could remember as it felt as if I had known Ruth all my life. Ema asked about the first actual meeting which again I didn't have an answer for. On that holiday us girls just met & had an instant connection so it seemed as if we had planned & booked that holiday together. Ruth was the most easy going person to be around, we could laugh, talk or just be quiet together. Ruth never judged, always encouraged & gave wise advice. I will miss her so very, very much.

Ruthie, I have spent ages trying to find the words to put on here, but have struggled to find the right ones, so I'm keeping it simple. I just want to say, THANK YOU! Thank you, for being my friend! It goes without saying that I will miss you, but I feel incredibly lucky to have had you as my best friend. I love you and will always remember you with love, fun and happiness in my heart X X X
